Police Response to Noise Complaint
The situation unfolded on June 13, when police were dispatched to the location following reports of a woman screaming. It was later clarified that the sounds were expressions of celebration, as the New York Knicks had won the NBA finals against the San Antonio Spurs that evening.
The released footage reportedly captures the moment the dog was shot. Additionally, the video is said to show an officer pointing a pistol directly at the woman during a calm exchange that occurred before the dog entered the hallway.
