A woman involved in a shark attack at Sydney's Coogee Beach has reportedly spoken her first words since the incident, briefly waking from a coma. Leah Stewart, who sustained injuries on June 13, was extubated on Tuesday and communicated with her mother and partner.
First Words After Ten Days
Ten days after the attack, Ms. Stewart uttered the words, 'I love you,' to her family members. She had been in a coma following the encounter with what is believed to be a great white shark.
