Earth's Black Box Project Resurfaces, Set for Tasmanian Installation

Monitoring Humanity's Climate Impact

The 'Earth's Black Box,' a project designed to meticulously record humanity's progression toward a climate crisis, is reportedly back on track. After an initial announcement five years ago that was followed by a period of quiet, its developers confirm that the initiative is proceeding.

Installation Planned for Remote Tasmania

According to Rouser Lab, the organization behind the project, assembly of the steel structure is currently underway. The completed monolith is slated for installation in December near Queenstown, situated on the perimeter of a secluded airfield in western Tasmania. The structure's design is intended to withstand catastrophic events, serving as a final record of human actions concerning the planet's climate.
