Police Identify Victim in Peak District Stone Circle Death Investigation

Investigation Underway After Discovery at Historic Site

Police have released the identity of a 26-year-old man whose death at a Bronze Age stone circle in the Peak District is being treated as a suspected murder. Isaac Clare-Watts, from Nottingham, was discovered at the Nine Ladies stone circle in Stanton Lees, Derbyshire, around 1:38 PM on Monday.

Arrest Made in Connection with Incident

The discovery occurred during a summer solstice event at the ancient monument. Following the incident, a 41-year-old man has been taken into custody by police in connection with the ongoing investigation.
