Saka Participates in England Training Ahead of Ghana Encounter

Saka Joins Full England Session

Bukayo Saka, the Arsenal forward, participated in full training with the England national team on Sunday, signaling an encouraging development regarding his fitness. This comes as England prepares for their second World Cup group stage fixture against Ghana.

Saka had not engaged in a complete training session with the main squad on Saturday, opting instead for individual drills for a portion of the practice. However, reports indicate he was fully integrated into the team's penultimate training session on Sunday, ahead of Tuesday's game in Boston.

Achilles Tendinitis Management

The 24-year-old is managing an ongoing Achilles tendinitis issue, which led to him starting on the bench during England's opening 4-2 victory over Croatia. Manager Thomas Tuchel has previously stated that Saka is unlikely to be considered for a starting role until the third group stage match against Panama.

Saka has been dealing with this Achilles problem for some time. Despite initial concerns within Arsenal regarding the minor injury, he was deemed fit enough to consistently start during the club's successful end-of-season run, which saw them secure their first Premier League title in 22 years. It is understood that the condition of Saka's Achilles has not worsened since the conclusion of the domestic season.
