A 14-year-old male has been charged with murder after a 17-year-old, identified as Jamal Coombes, was fatally stabbed in Battersea, south-west London. The incident occurred on Saturday, prompting emergency services to respond to Glycena Road around 04:20 BST.

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that the 14-year-old, whose identity is protected by law, is scheduled to appear before Highbury Corner Youth Court. He faces charges of murder and possession of a bladed article.
Further Developments in the Investigation
In connection with the same incident, a 15-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, who were previously detained on suspicion of murder, have been released on bail. Another 15-year-old boy, also arrested on suspicion of murder, remains in police custody as the investigation continues.
